Job Title: Logistics Planner

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Planner to join our team at A & K Transportation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize logistics operations.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organized and reliable with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Team player with excellent judgement and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Work under pressure with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication.
Work Schedule:
  • 40 to 44 hours per week.
