Position Summary

Kamloops Central Health is seeking a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team As a member of our Early Childhood Development team, you will provide family-centered speech & language services to children from birth to school entry and their families. Responsibilities include the provision of a full range of clinical services, community consultation and education, and implementation of a population health approach to promote healthy communication in the general population.

About the Position

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with our team, you will work closely with local organizations and health care providers to address the unique needs of the Kamloops community. You will provide a range of clinical services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication disorders in children. You will also work with families and caregivers to provide education and support to promote healthy communication in the general population.

Qualifications
  • Full practicing registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC).
  • One year's recent, related experience in working with clients in Early Childhood Development setting and/or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Valid Driver's license.
