Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital and Data Architect to join our team at Domtar, a leading provider of fiber-based products. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for researching, evaluating, and aligning digital and data transformation initiatives to meet our organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Innovation: Research and evaluate emerging digital technologies to identify opportunities for adoption and implementation.
  • Data Strategy and Business Intelligence: Lead the development and architecture of data management strategies and solutions to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of our data assets.
  • Digital Strategy: Participate in the development and execution of a comprehensive digital strategy aligned with our business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other departments to integrate digital and data solutions and drive adoption across the company.
  • Data Governance: Participate in the development of data governance and data quality policies, standards, and frameworks.
  • Leadership: Assist in the development and mentoring of team members and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

  • Digital Strategy Expertise: Proven experience in developing business-relevant digital solutions that drive business growth and align with our company's vision.
  • Data Management Skills: In-depth knowledge of data management principles, including data quality, integration, and security.
  • Business Intelligence and Analytics: Expertise in leveraging business intelligence tools and analytics to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Innovation and Technology Adoption: Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and implement innovative digital technologies.
  • Leadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with the capacity to effectively work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
