About the Role

MPE Engineering Ltd. is seeking an experienced Intermediate Municipal Engineer to join our team in Medicine Hat. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality municipal engineering services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop municipal engineering projects, including water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, stormwater management, and transportation infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with clients and contractors to ensure project success and satisfaction.
  • Conduct cost estimates and prepare technical reports and proposals.
  • Oversee field staff and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Professional Engineer designation in Alberta (APEGA) or Technologist designation through ASET.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, with a focus on municipal projects.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Civil 3D software and experience with water, sewer, and stormwater modeling software.
