MPE Engineering Ltd. - Intermediate Municipal Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Intermediate Municipal Engineer to join our team in Medicine Hat. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for various municipal engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop municipal engineering projects, including water treatment and distribution, wastewater treatment and collection, stormwater management, and transportation infrastructure.
  • Conduct cost estimates and prepare technical reports and proposals.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Oversee field staff during construction and perform field work as required.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
Requirements:
  • Professional Engineer designation in Alberta (APEGA) or Technologist designation through ASET.
  • 5 years of relevant experience in the field of Civil Engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Civil 3D software and experience with water, sewer, and stormwater modeling software.
