Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints
  • Present bills to patrons and process payments via cash, credit or debit cards, travelers' cheques, or room billings
  • Describe menu offerings, including daily specials, to customers
  • Provide recommendations on menu selections
  • Manage cash balance and record sales accurately
  • Clear and sanitize tables, trays, and chairs
  • Welcome guests, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and drinks
  • Take orders and communicate them to kitchen and bar staff
  • Train new staff members
  • Assist clients with special requirements
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with electronic cash registers
  • Experience with point of sale systems
