Job Title: Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at The Child Club. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Work Environment:

The Child Club is a dynamic and fast-paced work environment that requires strong organizational and time management skills. As a Bookkeeper, you will work closely with our finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

35 hours per week.
