Your Opportunity

Our Kitchener-Waterloo office is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance team and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits, prepare working papers, and financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Streamline the preparation of year-end engagements and tax returns for clients from various industries.
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients, addressing their requests and suggestions promptly.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives and identify new opportunities with existing clients.
  • Ensure continuous communication with team members about progress updates and any arising issues.

Your Experience and Education

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • A working towards or received CPA designation.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in external audit within the public accounting industry.
  • A strong focus on teamwork, client service, and quality while completing detailed work.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
