Senior Accountant Opportunity

Elby Professional Recruitment Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's Public Accounting team in Waterloo. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to work with a well-established firm and gain a wide range of experience in various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare personal and corporate tax returns with accuracy and efficiency
  • Assist with audit processes and year-end engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
  • Manage trust accounting and corporate reorganizations with precision and attention to detail
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements, providing valuable insights to stakeholders
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration
  • Lead a team and work closely with clients to deliver exceptional results
  • Handle communications with the CRA, ensuring compliance and accuracy
Requirements:
  • CPA designation or in the final stages of obtaining it
  • At least 2 years of Public Accounting experience, with a strong focus on technical skills
