We're seeking a Resident Engagement Assistant to join our team at Aspira Royale Place Retirement Living. As a key member of our community, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the interests and needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with our team to create a warm and welcoming environment that fosters social interaction and a sense of community.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events and activities that promote resident engagement and well-being.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to our residents, their families, and our staff.
  • Contribute to the development and revision of departmental procedures and policies to ensure the highest standards of care and service.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or certificate in recreation/leisure studies or a related field.
  • Experience working with seniors, with a strong understanding of motivation concepts and leisure principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Check (Ontario applicants) or Criminal Records Check (British Columbia applicants).
