Engineering at StackAdapt:

As an Engineer at StackAdapt, you will play a crucial role in the evolution of our advertising platform, crafting production-level code that significantly influences our product's success. You will engage with extensive data sets and gain exposure to contemporary technology stacks, including GoLang, Ruby on Rails, React, GraphQL, and more. Our engineering team thrives on collaboration and cross-functional teamwork, offering you the chance to work in a diverse and adaptable environment with dedicated career pathways to foster your growth.

About the Audiences Team:

We are a comprehensive engineering team dedicated to assisting marketers in creating ad campaigns aimed at specific user groups based on their interests, locations, custom identifiers, and more. Additionally, we are developing a customer data platform to streamline and manage audience data from various sources. Our team also develops features that enable marketers to assess the effectiveness of their campaigns through conversion tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, enhance, and troubleshoot complex, scalable distributed systems.
  • Advocate for software development best practices and conduct thorough code reviews.
  • Plan and architect scalable web APIs, component libraries, and backend systems.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Take ownership of projects from inception to completion.
  • Contribute to code reviews and technical specification evaluations.
  • Mentor junior full-stack engineers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of full-time experience in developing high-performance web applications.
  • Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript is essential.
  • Familiarity with Redux, Ruby on Rails, and GraphQL is highly preferred.
  • Experience leading client-facing projects from design through to delivery.
  • Collaborative experience with product and design teams to create, implement, and refine impactful end-to-end product experiences.
  • Previous engineering experience in marketing technology and customer data platforms is highly preferred.
