About This Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities across various technologies.
  • Develop and implement effective remediation strategies to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with organizational security frameworks.
  • Utilize industry-leading tools and technologies, such as Rapid7, Burp Suite, and Qualys, to perform vulnerability assessments and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with application teams and business unit owners to submit risk assessments and ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities.
  • Perform regular vulnerability scans and assessments to identify and prioritize remediation efforts.
  • Manage and troubleshoot vulnerability management tools to ensure seamless operation and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with network, endpoint, and server teams to discuss patch management, target patch levels, and CVEs covered by corresponding patches.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging threats, and new technologies to ensure effective vulnerability management and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies, including CVSS, and apply this knowledge to inform remediation efforts.
  • Collaborate with security teams to identify and prioritize security vulnerabilities and develop effective remediation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of web application vulnerabilities, assessment tools, and methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry certifications, such as CEH, Rapid7 Certified Administrator, and Qualys Certification, to ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
