About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Engineer to join our team at Global Trading Systems. As a Linux Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring that our production environment is up and running properly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proficient Linux administration skills, with experience in RedHat based Linux versions.
  • Thorough understanding of computer networking protocols and concepts, including IP/TCP/UDP, NAT, DNS, NFS, and similar systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting Linux and application problems, with a demonstrated history of understanding root causes of complex problems.
  • Experience with UNIX utilities and scripting, as well as a version control system (e.g., Git).
  • Knowledge of automation, configuration management, and monitoring with systems such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Salt, or similar systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies from AWS, GCP, or Azure, and tools related to building and operating cloud-based applications.
  • Experience in container-based technologies.

  • Ability to make decisions with limited information.
  • Comfortable problem-solving in high-pressure situations.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, strong organizational, and time management skills.
