Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

At Prairie Mountain Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our Therapy Services department, you will play a vital role in providing leadership and expertise in the care of clients with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, plan, and implement treatment programs for clients with speech, language, and hearing disorders
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and develop treatment goals
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
  • Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal
Working Conditions:
  • Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time without resting
  • Must be able to work under stress and time constraints
