Speech-Language Pathology Specialist

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Prairie Mountain Health. As a key member of our Therapy Services department, you will provide leadership in the care of clients, contributing to the assessment, planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of care related to Speech-Language Pathology.
Responsibilities:- Assess, identify, and treat clients of varying ages and with diverse diagnoses
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each client
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to clients and their families
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to Speech-Language Pathology
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited post-secondary institution
- Active registration with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Manitoba
- Eligibility for membership in Speech-Language and Audiology Canada
- Excellent English language proficiency, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Must be in good physical and mental health and be able to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time without resting
- Must be able to work under stress and time constraints
