Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Helper to join our team at Brar's Flawless Finish Drywall. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced drywall installers with various tasks, ensuring the highest quality finish for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Materials: Safely load and unload construction materials, including drywall sheets, plywood, and other necessary supplies.
  • Transportation and Storage: Transport materials to and from job sites, and store them in a secure and organized manner.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and inspecting equipment, and making minor repairs as needed.
  • Machine Operation: Assist with the operation of drywall machines and equipment, ensuring they are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Assembly and Installation: Assist with the assembly and installation of drywall panels, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including equipment usage and location.
  • Pre-Job Preparation: Prepare wall and ceiling layouts, ensuring a precise and accurate installation.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with the ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 36-42 hours per week, with occasional overtime as needed.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
