Job Title: Transportation Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team at WASTEHAUL TRANSPORT INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of dispatchers and radio operators, ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on our vehicles and equipment
  • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
  • Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle
