About the Role

We're seeking a talented DevOps professional to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a DevOps intern, you'll play a key role in helping us deliver innovative digital solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and test code changes to fix defects and enhance software releases
  • Troubleshoot defects and provide input into remediation plans
  • Assist in developing requirements with product management and architects
  • Participate in the discovery phase of initiatives and provide high-level design input
  • Assist in solving software/systems monitoring issues and escalations
Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in a related field (e.g., artificial intelligence, data science, computer science)
  • Available to work 35 hours per week for the Winter semester
  • Available to work from the office 2 days a week and from home 3 days a week
  • Must be returning to school in Fall following the internship
  • Practical experience in data science, machine learning, or deep learning
  • Practical experience with Python or R programming languages
  • Understanding of data science approaches in financial services (an asset)
  • Knowledge of AWS, Cloud, and Terraform (an asset)
  • Sequal and CICD (an asset)
  • Bilingualism is essential (French and English)
