Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at St. Paul Education.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will provide support to our Speech Language Pathologists in delivering high-quality therapy services to students with communication disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Speech Language Pathologists in conducting assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions to students.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of therapy materials, records, and reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as speech-language pathology or a related field.
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders, preferably in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
