About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Design Director to join our team at Masabi. As a key member of our design leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping the overall design direction for our product portfolio, aligning with business goals and user needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design strategy for all Masabi products, ensuring cohesive and intuitive experiences.
  • Drive the development of innovative, human-centred design solutions that make life easier for millions of transport users across the globe.
  • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business development teams to drive innovation, ensuring user-centric design solutions that are both practical and visionary.
  • Establish and continuously refine design processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure efficiency and scalability across projects.
  • Serve as a key advocate for design within the company, presenting and communicating design decisions to leadership and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to lead and deliver end-to-end product design solutions across platforms.
  • Extensive experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on mobile, web, and SaaS products.
  • Deep understanding of design systems, interaction design, and user-centered design principles.
  • Leadership experience, managing and developing high-performing design teams.
  • Proficient in Figma and other design tools, and have a solid understanding of agile methodologies and product management.
