  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware in residential and commercial settings.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and resolve issues with telecommunication systems, including cable signals, equipment faults, and network connectivity problems.
  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive tests on installed systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving technical issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of telecommunication principles, hands-on experience with various equipment and technologies, and excellent problem-solving skills. A commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential qualities for success in this role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience as a Telecommunications Technician.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to relocate.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of telephone systems, computerized testing systems, and telecommunication systems.
  • Experience with aerial and underground cable lines, cable outlets, and splitters.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
