Radiological Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiological Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centered care while operating radiological/accessory equipment with minimal supervision. You will perform a variety of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures, applying the ALARA principle, and continuously remain responsive to and responsible for each patient in your care.
Travel to other sites may be required.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology. You must hold Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) certification and Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals (NSCMIRTP) licensure. Previous experience is an asset, and qualification to work in more than one Diagnostic Imaging modality is also an asset. Basic Life Support Certification is required, and you must be able to use time effectively by organizing and prioritizing duties, while working independently and under minimal supervision.

Hours- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours biweekly
- Shift work and call required, evenings, nights, and weekends
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $37.54. They may also be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
