Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the management of the Global HR Operations project portfolio, focusing on both transformational and continuous improvement projects to enhance visibility and support decision-making for senior stakeholders.
  • Provide expert project management guidance for complex HR programs, ensuring effective delivery through a dedicated team of Project Delivery Specialists.
  • Establish and maintain global governance frameworks for HR Operations projects, enabling effective monitoring, risk management, and resource planning.
  • Drive demand and resource planning to align project requirements with available capacity, ensuring efficient execution of project activities throughout the year.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency and contribute to the overall business objectives.
  • Manage the HR Operations budget, conducting monthly financial analyses, quarterly forecasts, and annual budget planning.
  • Oversee HR headcount reporting and manage the HR Data Cube to ensure accurate data management.

Accountability:

  • Ensure successful delivery of HR projects in alignment with global objectives.
  • Manage resources effectively to meet project goals.
  • Oversee project performance and governance, ensuring adherence to reporting standards.
  • Facilitate communication for global HR initiatives, collaborating with HR function members.
  • Maintain accountability for budget management and headcount reporting.

Project Management Excellence:

  • Develop and implement a standardized project management framework, ensuring consistent use of tools and templates across all projects.
  • Create a project portfolio dashboard to provide real-time visibility into project status, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Establish governance processes to regularly review project status and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation and governance are in place for all initiatives.

Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and inspire the Project Delivery Specialist team, fostering a culture of excellence and high ethical standards.
  • Communicate project priorities clearly, aligning team objectives with organizational goals.
  • Enhance team capabilities through training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for project-related issues, providing guidance and support as needed.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor the HR Operations budget, ensuring alignment with financial projections and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and lead budget forecasting activities.

Data Management:

  • Support strategic headcount planning and maintain accurate FTE data across HR.
  • Generate monthly reports to track HR headcount and forecast future needs.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with global HR stakeholders to define project priorities and outcomes.
  • Engage with HR Business Solutions to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Build strong partnerships with Finance to ensure effective budget management.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Shared Service Centre environment.
  • Proven track record in leading continuous improvement projects.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and metrics.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies.
