Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Thai Sechelt Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers and staff.
  • Requisition Supplies: Order and manage food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver high-quality service.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and dining staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Training and Development: Train new staff members in their job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet our quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage, and develop budgets and cost estimates to ensure the financial health of our restaurant.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Work Environment:

Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment, and you will be required to work under pressure to meet the demands of our customers. You will be expected to be on your feet for most of your shift, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
