Job Summary:

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in our commercial building. This includes sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, as well as vacuuming carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain hygiene standards
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth operation
  • Provide basic information on facilities to clients and visitors
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to ensure a clean and tidy space
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
Requirements:
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Criminal record check
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
