We are a dynamic and growing company that specializes in logistics and supply chain management. Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service to our clients, and we are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

Job Summary

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of supplies and materials between departments, scheduling assignments and coordinating activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment. This role will also involve supporting social and labor market integration of newcomers and refugees, as well as providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management
    • Monitor the movement of supplies and materials between departments
    • Coordinate traffic flow of supplies
    • Schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Support social and labor market integration of newcomers and/or refugees
    • Recruit newcomers and/or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster
    • Support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment
  • Support for Indigenous People
    • Offer mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
    • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations
    • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers
    • Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers
  • Support for Visible Minorities
    • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
    • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees
    • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities
  • Work Environment
