Job Title: Clinical Nurse - Opiate Dependency Treatment

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Clinical Nurse to join our team at the Canadian Addiction Treatment Centres. As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients struggling with opiate dependency.

About the Role:
  • Develop and deliver harm reduction and supportive treatment modalities for patients with opiate dependency
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans
  • Dispense and administer medications, including methadone, suboxone, and narcotics, as delegated by a licensed physician
  • Perform ECGs, venipuncture, urine drug screening, and other vital signs
  • Administer injections and ensure proper documentation
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Diploma in Registered Practical Nursing or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Previous experience in addiction treatment and/or a similar field
  • Member in good standing with the College of Nurses in Ontario
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
  • Strong commitment to working with individuals living with addiction and mental health
