The Hamilton Sports Group, which oversees the Hamilton Tiger-Cats Football Club and Forge FC Hamilton, is dedicated to delivering an exceptional fan experience at all events held at Tim Hortons Field.

We are in search of a seasoned sales expert to enhance our Corporate Partnerships team. The Director of Corporate Sponsorship Sales will be tasked with driving new sponsorship revenue across all organizational properties.

Successful candidates will exhibit strong skills in sponsorship sales and relationship management, focusing on generating new revenue through comprehensive corporate marketing partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a well-established reputation and a proven track record of success, achieved through collaboration with major brands, teams, or agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and optimize networking opportunities with potential and existing sponsors and relevant marketing agencies.
  2. Comprehend the prospect's brand objectives and tailor sales presentations to highlight brand synergies and positioning.
  3. Assist in creating strategies to meet Hamilton Sports Group revenue goals.
  4. Collaborate with the service team to execute all partner relationships, contracts, and events.
  5. Work during game days and events, including evenings and weekends, as required by the sports and entertainment industry.
  6. Partner with other departments to design sponsored programs, including creative, communications, data, and analytics.
  7. Support the Corporate Sales team in achieving or exceeding departmental and organizational targets.
  8. Establish and maintain positive relationships with current corporate partners and prospects.
  9. Demonstrate a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  10. Utilize business intelligence to prospect, pitch, and finalize partnership agreements.
  11. Experience in developing sponsorship property assets that align with partner objectives.
  12. Possess a minimum of 5-7 years of sales experience, either on the property or agency side, with a focus on sports partnerships.
  13. A post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing, business, sports administration, or related fields is an asset.
  14. Willingness to work all home games, as well as weekends and evenings when necessary.
  15. Work in an office environment.
