Job Title: Banquet Porter

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Porter to join our team at ROLOH INVESTMENTS LTD. O/A BEST WESTERN PORT O'CALL HOTEL. As a Banquet Porter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events and banquets in our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, install, reconfigure, relocate, and dismantle temporary partitions and furnishings of rooms.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Organize and coordinate buffets and banquets, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization.
  • Carry and replace linen, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
Work Environment:

As a Banquet Porter, you will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, interacting with guests, colleagues, and management. You will be required to work under pressure, handling multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

Requirements:
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
