Banquet Porter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Banquet Porter to join our team at ROLOH INVESTMENTS LTD. O/A BEST WESTERN PORT O'CALL HOTEL. As a Banquet Porter, you will be responsible for setting up, installing, reconfiguring, relocating, and dismantling temporary partitions and furnishings of rooms. You will also address customers' complaints or concerns, assist clients/guests with special needs, organize buffets and banquets, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and carry and replace linen.

Work Setting

Our hotel, motel, and resort setting requires a physically demanding individual who can handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and maintain a high level of efficiency. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring flexibility and initiative to meet the needs of our guests.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate will be required to bend, crouch, kneel, and walk for extended periods. You will also be handling heavy loads and working in a physically demanding environment.

Weight Handling

You will be required to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs) and handle heavy loads throughout your shift.
