Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Consultant to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our Internal Audit team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering technical training content to support the skills development of our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct training needs assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training programs
  • Collaborate with the Professional Practices Centre team and audit team experts to create engaging and effective training content
  • Design and deliver training sessions, including new hire training, to ensure employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as needed
  • Support the administration of the CIBC CPA Pre-approved Rotational Program, including recruitment activities and CFE-related support
Requirements
  • Experience in a learning and development department or delivering training on topics related to risk assessment, internal controls, and audit procedures
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to successfully manage timelines, multiple projects, and critical paths
  • Proven ability to provide synchronous or asynchronous teaching or training for others, and produce creative, visual, or interactive teaching/training resources
  • Proficiency in learning technology, such as Articulate360, Camtasia, and/or Vyond, is an asset
