Job Summary

Vansa Renovation Ltd is seeking a skilled Building Insulation Supervisor to oversee our insulation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising workers and projects, as well as coordinating and scheduling activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare production and other reports to ensure project efficiency
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 workers to ensure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Oversee apprenticeship training to ensure new staff are equipped with the necessary skills
  • Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure staff are up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Set up machines and equipment to ensure efficient project execution
  • Estimate costs and materials to ensure project budget is met
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the team is working effectively
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies to ensure project completion
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Organized and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team player with a positive attitude
