Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrator, Database to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our critical ERP System, SAMenu.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Administration & Support: Manage, configure, and administer the SAMenu Application and Oracle DB landscape, ensuring seamless integration with other applications.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor, detect, analyze, and resolve SAMenu issues, defects, and outages, providing timely support to development teams.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation to perform operational and administrative activities outside of regular working hours.
  • Change Management: Assess and approve specifications prepared by the Business Analysis team to solve issues and develop change or enhancement requests.
  • Project Coordination: Collaborate with the management team and business analysts to prioritize, plan, and coordinate SAMenu development tasks, ensuring timely delivery of new, improved, or enhanced functionality.
  • Quality Assurance: Recommend technical and procedural checks and controls to proactively mitigate incidents and ensure the quality of developments.
  • Deployment: Approve and deploy developed solutions on production, overseeing and managing the monthly freeze period.
Requirements
  • Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of database design and data standards.
  • Advanced knowledge of PLSQL or equivalent DB development languages.
  • Experience with Oracle Databases hosted on AWS.
  • Experience with MS Visual Studio, GIT, Azure DevOps Server.
