Position Overview

Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication and welding processes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a welding or metalworking environment
Work Environment

This role is set within a dynamic manufacturing facility, requiring the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret and apply welding process specifications accurately
  • Operate both manual and automated welding machinery
  • Read and analyze welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Utilize metal shaping and bending machines effectively
  • Assess the weldability of various materials
  • Fabricate or repair metal components using established welding techniques
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
Materials and Equipment
  • Experience with aluminum alloys, steel, iron, and heavy metals
  • Proficient in using gas welding machines
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle repetitive tasks with attention to detail
  • Capable of lifting weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
