Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Clean and Prepare Metal Products: Immerse metal products in cleaning solutions, sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials.
  • Grind and Polish Metal: Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools and polish metal products to a mirror finish.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Clean machines and immediate work areas, load and unload vehicles, and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: The position requires physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: Experience with lifting devices and hand tools is required.
  • Weight Handling: The ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is necessary.
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility and a team player attitude are essential for success in this role.
