Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Advance Sheet Metal Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, sorting metal sheets and parts, and performing various tasks related to metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Metal Cleaning Equipment: Safely operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Sort and Prepare Materials: Sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials for fabrication and processing.
  • Perform Fabrication Tasks: Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, clean machines and immediate work areas, and load and unload vehicles.
  • Polish Metal Products: Polish metal products to a mirror finish.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Work Setting: The successful candidate will work in a sheet metal fabrication shop, manufacturing metal products.
  • Physical Demands: The job requires physical demands, including handling heavy loads and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Equipment and Machinery Experience: The candidate should have experience with lifting devices and hand tools.
  • Weight Handling: The successful candidate should be able to handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility and a team player attitude are essential for this role.
