Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at Preferred Client Services.

Job Summary:

The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software, MS Excel, MS Word, Quick Books, TaxPrep, MS Office, and Spreadsheet
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Accounting certification
  • Experience with Sage Accounting Software
