Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Optima Senior Management Inc. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and classify financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Financial Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial reports
  • Accounting Systems
    • Set up and maintain accounting systems, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
    • Ensure accurate and efficient use of accounting software
  • Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Simply Accounting
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
