Job Summary

Central Protection Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Senior Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Financial Analysis
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement
    • Prepare financial reports and presentations for management
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with management and other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software and MS Office
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
