About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Team Member to join our Steel Production team at ArcelorMittal Dofasco. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the steel production process, including operating computer systems, quality control, and mobile equipment operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computer systems (HMIs) to run and monitor operations
  • Support quality control processes to ensure high-quality steel production
  • Operate mobile equipment (cranes, tractors, forklifts) to move materials and products
  • Participate in job rotations to develop knowledge, skills, and competence
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
  • Approximately one year of experience in industrial/manufacturing settings or relevant experience in crane operation, heavy equipment operation, Canadian Forces, steel industry, construction, bricklaying, welding, or shipping and receiving
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment
  • Basic computer and software literacy
