About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operations Team Member to join our team at ArcelorMittal Dofasco. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will play a critical role in supporting various aspects of the steel production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain computer systems (HMIs) to run and monitor operations
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality steel products
  • Operate mobile equipment (cranes, tractors, forklifts) safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
  • Approximately one year of experience in industrial/manufacturing settings or relevant experience in overhead/remote crane operation, heavy equipment operation, Canadian Forces, steel industry, construction, bricklaying, welding, or shipping and receiving
  • Strong problem-solving skills and good communication skills
  • Experience working within a collaborative team environment
  • Basic computer and software literacy
