About the Position

We are seeking highly motivated and organized individuals to join our Manufacturing Team as Manufacturing Operations Team Members. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of the steel production process, including operating computer systems, quality control, and mobile equipment operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computer systems (HMIs) to run and monitor operations
  • Conduct quality control checks and report any issues
  • Operate mobile equipment (Cranes, Tractors, Forklifts) as needed
  • Participate in job rotations to develop knowledge and skills
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate (GED)
  • Approximately one year of experience in industrial/manufacturing settings, or equivalent experience in related fields such as construction, bricklaying, welding, or shipping and receiving
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer and software literacy
