Job Title: Registered Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of our organization's mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of patient care plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
  • Completion of the CRNA Medication Management - Chapters 1 - 4 and NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification (if applicable).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
