Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our patients in a variety of long-term and acute care facilities in the Elliot Lake area.
**Job Summary:**
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a Nurse Practitioner with RhynoCare, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and provide care that is tailored to their individual needs.
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, physician's orders, and the patient's plan of care.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their needs and develop plans to address them.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Document patient care and progress in a timely and accurate manner.
**Requirements:**
- Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Able to work with patients who have infectious diseases.
- BLS Certificate.
- Valid First Aid & CPR.
- Proof of current immunizations for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella (MMRV) and negative TB skin test within one year as well as Hepatitis B.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shift times, including eight or twelve hours in length.
- Ability to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital, depending on facility need.
- Ability to be reliable and available to work at an agreed-upon facility/unit.
