Nurse Practitioner Position

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our primary care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will possess a Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree and have a minimum of three years of experience working as a Registered Nurse. You will be responsible for providing clinical assessment and treatment strategies, building partnerships with individuals, families, and communities, and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advanced practice nursing care to patients with common acute illnesses and stable chronic conditions
- Order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals, and perform specific procedures as authorized
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families
- Participate in community needs assessments and support inter-professional collaboration
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree
- Three years of experience working as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support Level C Certificate (BLS-C) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
- Decision making, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to competently use computers and software applications
