Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Orillia, ON. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support to production, troubleshooting production processes, equipment, and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to production teams to resolve technical problems and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Liaise with production, procurement, quality, maintenance, and design engineering teams to resolve technical issues and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to optimize and continuously improve manufacturing processes in areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Efficiency.
  • Manage capital project deliverables, including design, selection, purchase, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes of issues related to production quality, performance, capacity, and on-time delivery.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce material and labor costs, scrap, rework, and excess inventory.
  • Champion Lean-Six Sigma methodology implementation and lead Kaizen projects to drive process improvements.
  • Manage Value Streams to ensure customers receive maximum value at company's minimum costs.
  • Perform Cycle Time and Line Balancing analysis to ensure customer take-time adherence and maximum efficiency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar Engineering field, or equivalent experience and education.
  • Minimum Green Belt Certification in Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Project Management Certification considered an asset.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or similar role.
  • Experience in managing large capital projects.
