CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Orillia, ON. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support to production, troubleshooting production processes, equipment, and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to production teams to resolve technical problems and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
- Liaise with production, procurement, quality, maintenance, and design engineering teams to resolve technical issues and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement engineering solutions to optimize and continuously improve manufacturing processes in areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability, and Efficiency.
- Manage capital project deliverables, including design, selection, purchase, installation, and commissioning of new equipment.
- Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes of issues related to production quality, performance, capacity, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement process improvements to reduce material and labor costs, scrap, rework, and excess inventory.
- Champion Lean-Six Sigma methodology implementation and lead Kaizen projects to drive process improvements.
- Manage Value Streams to ensure customers receive maximum value at company's minimum costs.
- Perform Cycle Time and Line Balancing analysis to ensure customer take-time adherence and maximum efficiency.
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or similar Engineering field, or equivalent experience and education.
- Minimum Green Belt Certification in Lean and Six Sigma.
- Project Management Certification considered an asset.
- Minimum 4 years of working experience as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or similar role.
