Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at EMCO Corporation, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer experiences. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team to deliver sales support to customers of Westlund.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, ensuring 100% customer satisfaction.
  • Research products to recommend to customers, leveraging our extensive product assortment.
  • Process sales orders generated from Profit Centre customers via phone, email, and text.
  • Grow and retain an established customer base, developing new business opportunities.
  • Follow up on backorders with vendors, providing customers with accurate delivery dates.
  • Process returns and warranty claims, adhering to all procedures.
  • Support Inside sales and business activities as part of the team.
  • Assist the warehouse in picking orders and operate material handling equipment.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; college and/or university degree an asset.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or counter sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including email, data analysis, and customer contact management.
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates.
  • Ability to identify customer needs, provide profitable solutions, and close sales.
  • Intermediate math skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of products sold by Westlund.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Infor M3.
