Join our team at BCP CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a dedicated Framing Carpenter. This role involves working in various construction environments, focusing on both commercial and residential projects.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to less than 7 months in carpentry is preferred.
- Work may be conducted at heights and in confined spaces.
- Expect exposure to noisy and dusty conditions.
- Prepare layouts that comply with building codes, utilizing precise measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials including wood and lightweight steel.
- Prepare tenders and quotations for projects.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roofing systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Coordinate and schedule work activities on-site.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures across different establishments.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is necessary.
- Capable of handling heavy loads and managing a large workload.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Must be able to meet tight deadlines and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective oral and written communication abilities.
- Good judgment and reliability.
- A team player who values ethics and professionalism.
