Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior leadership and staff to devise a coordinated approach for strategic portfolio and program management.
  • Utilize insights from corporate partners to set strategic priorities, establish multi-year objectives, and develop realistic timelines for delivery.
  • Create a comprehensive framework for managing risks and issues across the program.
  • Develop a network of interdisciplinary projects, making timely adjustments to priorities, timelines, and deliverables as necessary.
  • Build and nurture a team of specialists to ensure the successful execution of the program's objectives.
  • Establish goals, recruit and train personnel, and monitor performance across diverse teams.
  • Enhance program effectiveness by collecting feedback and insights from employees, leaders, and strategic partners.
  • Prepare budgets and program plans for large-scale initiatives.
  • Conduct financial analyses, generate reports, and utilize data from financial statements to refine budgeting strategies and develop additional plans.
  • Establish and oversee a cross-corporate governance structure to ensure that project and program targets are met on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Planning, Public Administration, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in managing significant programs or projects.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with municipal development processes is advantageous.
  • You possess strong communication and leadership skills, with a dedication to customer service and continuous improvement.
