Youth Engagement Program Leader

We are in search of a dedicated Youth Program Coordinator to enhance our initiatives aimed at supporting immigrant youth. This position is ideal for individuals who are committed to fostering positive changes in the lives of young people.
Position Overview:Job Title: Youth Program Coordinator
Language Requirements:Fluency in languages such as Arabic, Karen, Burmese, Swahili, Tigrinya, Dari, Pashto, or Bengali is essential.
Employment Type:Temporary, Full-time
Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend and evening commitments.
Working Hours:35 hours per week
Compensation:$33.49 per hour
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate in designing and implementing engaging program activities.
- Create workshops on diverse subjects.
- Plan and coordinate social gatherings and excursions.
- Assist with the settlement and integration processes.
- Conduct intake interviews for program participants.
- Provide information and referral services to participants.
- Compile and prepare program reports.
- Engage in community consultations.
- Develop promotional materials for the program.
- Support quality assurance initiatives.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of program volunteers.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with at least one year of experience.
- Understanding of immigrant and youth settlement challenges.
- Strong communication abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Capacity to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in computer applications.
Membership in a union is a requirement. A Criminal Record Check is also necessary.
